DIZZY GILLESPIE – Have Trumpet Will Excite – CLP 1318 TEST PRESSING 2 X SINGLE SIDED LPs MONO

HMV S-G, V-VG+ Mono HMV release sleeve containing two single sided HMV Test Pressings instead of the expected single LP as released:
Side 1 disc: Printed details; matrix MGV 8313A-1N dated 1/10/59
Side 2 disc: Printed details; matrix MGV 8313B-1N dated 1/10/59
The Side 1 disc has a scuff (rather than a scratch) across one track.
Otherwise the discs appear unplayed and both are in the original company sleeves. Each inner sleeve has the matrix numbers hand-written, and one is stamped 29 Oct 1959.
